Day-by-Day Itinerary
Kharfaq Valley | Into the Wild
- Morning departure from Skardu towards Kharfaq Valley, where the real adventure begins. Start trekking through rugged mountain trails, surrounded by dramatic peaks, streams, and untouched landscapes. Push deeper into the wilderness as you make your way towards the first campsite.
Camp 1 — Kharfaq Valley Base Camp :
- Settle into your camp surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Enjoy a warm evening meal, tea, and time to relax around the campsite while preparing for the challenging days ahead.
Barah Valley | Into the Remote Mountains:
- After breakfast, break camp and continue the trek towards Barah Valley. The trail takes you through remote terrain, rocky paths, green patches, and breathtaking mountain scenery. This is where the trek truly starts feeling wild and adventurous.
Camp 2 — Barah Valley Camp:
- Set up camp in the heart of the barah broq. Enjoy dinner, hot tea, and a peaceful mountain evening beneath the vast Karakoram sky. Rest well for the higher-altitude adventure ahead.
Higher Trails | The Climb Gets Real:
- Gear up for a more demanding day as the trail climbs towards higher ground. Trek across rugged terrain while dramatic mountain views unfold around you. Every step takes you closer to the ultimate destination — Moses Peak K2 Viewpoint.
Camp 3 — High-Altitude Camp:
- Arrive at the high-altitude campsite and settle in. Enjoy a hot meal and refreshments while taking in the surrounding peaks. Spend the evening resting and preparing for tomorrow’s summit-view adventure.
Moses Peak | K2 Viewpoint Adventure
The Big Day! :
- Begin the trek towards Moses Peak K2 Viewpoint, tackling challenging trails and gaining elevation along the way. Reach the viewpoint and witness the breathtaking panorama of K2 and the mighty Karakoram giants. Take your time for photography, exploration, and soaking in one of the most spectacular mountain views.
Camp 4 — Moses Peak / Viewpoint Camp:
- After an unforgettable day, return to camp and enjoy a well-earned dinner and hot tea. Relax under the stars, surrounded by the silence and grandeur of the mountains.
The Descent | Back Through the Wilderness:
- After breakfast, begin the descent through the spectacular landscapes of Barah Valley and Kharfaq. Enjoy the final trekking hours, breathe in the mountain air, and look back on the trails you conquered during this incredible adventure.
Final Camp — Kharfaq Valley:
- Reach the final campsite, enjoy a relaxing evening meal, share stories from the trek, and celebrate completing your Moses Peak adventure.
Kharfaq Valley → Skardu | Journey Home:
- After breakfast, leave Kharfaq Valley and begin the scenic drive back to Skardu. Enjoy the final views of the mountains before drop-off in Skardu, marking the end of your 6-day Karakoram adventure.
